The Home has also got a beautiful cottage overlooking the Kearsney valley, where accommodation is offered to elderly and frail residents. St Lukes Home of Healing is a special care home, catering to the unique and individual needs of each resident. The residents have cerebral palsy, autism, dementia, stroke and we have frail care.

I was blown away today by this amazing young man.

Jack Gaul a Grade 10 Ashton International College student decided to do a
FOOD COLLECTION DRIVE
for his community service hours needed as a requirement for all students.

Jack I was thrilled to hear you had picked our special home but when you arrived today I could not belive my eyes and was lost for words.

Jack collected in total:

34kg of rice
25l dishwashing liquid
14kg washing powder
6.5kg of pasta
8 x 750ml dishwashing liquid
55 x assorted cans of baked beans, sweetcorn & tuna
4 x peanut butter
6 x packs of 18 roll toilet paper

This donation filled up our pantry so nicely and helps that we don't have to use scarse funds of these essentials.

If any other students want to do food collection or other collection drives please don't hesitate to contact me on 0823366238

A big thank you also to Merry Slater for the bag of clothing xx
