The SAB Foundation has introduced a new Social Innovation Award, the Reduction of Alcohol Misuse (RAM) Award. The RAM Award will focus on innovations that contribute to the reduction of alcohol misuse.

We’re looking for entrepreneurs with innovations that can solve or prevent alcohol misuse and especially those that address the societal issues such as:

• Drunk Driving
• Underage Drinking
• Binge Drinking
• Foetal Alcohol Syndrome
• Resistance to behaviour change
• The lack of available data on alcohol abuse

Prizes will range between R250 000 – R500 000 and in addition, awardees will be assessed on a case-by-case basis and placed on a tailored mentorship programme.

The online application form is available on the SAB Foundation website. Applications open 11 August 2021 and close on 13 September 2021 at midday.

chicken wings

Ingredients
12 wings
2tablespoon of chicken spice
1teaspoon of thyme
Black pepper
1tablespoon of paprika
1tablespoon of cooking oil or more if needed

In a large bowl put in your spices and cooking oil

pat dry your wings with a paper towel put in your wings in a bowl and mix until well combined

close the bowl and Refrigerate for 30 minutes

Oil your griller rack, this will help your wings not to stick on the rack

and grill them for 20min or until ready

And brush with your favorite sauce
