KoupJojoba - Golden Jojoba Oil Jojoba oil is a wax in liquid form. It has alot of alleviating properties for skin and hair problems. Jojoba oil balances the nourishment in your skin. NB!

It can alleviate dry skin/hair, sunburn, psoriasis and eczema. It is also animal friendly. We are local sheep farmers in the Central Karoo. More than a decade ago we learned about jojoba oil and since there wasn't many other producers (we were one of 2 at that time), we aimed to start growing and producing jojoba oil so that other people in South Africa, can also enjoy the wonderful properties of jojoba oil, at an affordable price. We grow, press, bottle and package all products directly on our farm. About JOJOBA OIL PROCESS:
Jojoba trees look like olive trees and can grow up to 5m tall. Sadly due to the poor water conditions cause by the drought, our trees have only managed to reach around 3m so far. The trees grow nuts that get pressed with a cold press to produce the oil. The trees drop the nuts twice a year, which is then picked up by hand and cleaned with water (to remove the dust). The nuts are placed in the sun to warm a bit before pressing (this makes the process easier). After the press, the oil is left to stand for a few weeks (this allows for all other left over meal from the outer layer of the nuts to drop to the bottom which ensures that the oil alone will go through the filters and thus ensuring thoroughly cleaned oil) before going through a thorough filter process. The oil is filtered through cotton filters to ensure the oil is clean before bottling. No extra ingredients are added. The oil is 100% natural. When jojoba oil gets cold it turns into a wax, just place the bottle in a bit of warm water to return it to an oil form.
