Karoo Wild Flower Essences are Vibrational Remedies made from the most beautiful of the wild flowers that grow in the natural fields on the Rouxpos farm close to Laingsburg in the Central Karoo.
What are Flower essences?
All living things have a vibrational energy and flowers are no different. Have you ever felt just a little bit more energized and positive when taking a walk in nature amongst trees and flowers? Or maybe you have felt it when working in your garden? Or when someone gave you flowers? Sometimes we just have the urge to pick a flower and put it in our hair or in our glass of drinking water, or in a vase close by where we can see or smell it. Ever Wondered Why?
The Reason Is: Every flower has a unique and subtle healing energy that brings balance and harmony to the emotional, mental, spiritual and physical bodies to create balance and harmony within us. Using flowers for emotional well-being is a healing system that have been used by many ancient civilizations and indigenous people all over the world. They believed that every flower has its own healing quality and when this flower is infused with water, through sunlight, that specific quality is captured in the water in the form of a vibrational frequency. The water then stores this vibrational frequency, as water has a memory. (It is well known that energy can change form and be transferred, and also that water has a memory.) The flower essence is thus a solarised infusion of the flower containing the imprint of the flower’s healing quality (vibrational frequency). Both the positive and the negative emotions can be addressed by flower essence therapy, such as fear, anxiety, purpose, hope, emotional blocks etc.
A flower essence does not contain any physical parts of the plant or flower, which makes it safe for use by adults, children and animals (it is NOT an essential oil). We use the method for making flower essences according to Dr. Edward Bach that developed the Bach Flower Remedy range in the early 1900s in England. See the range of Karoo Wild Flower Essences on the Rouxpos Guest Farm Website, Facebook and Instagram.
