Itโs not sexy to say โreal strength takes YEARS to buildโ but itโs the truth. It requires hard work no doubt but ALSO an understanding that progress comes when you create consistent adaptations. This requires times of pushing heavier loads AND times of back off for recovery & building your base. If you rush the process and try to lift heavier and heavier everyday to keep up with what you see on social media - you fail to find consistent adaptations. You canโt outwork biology.
So take your time. Push hard on days of intense training with technique as your guide & have planned periods of lower intensity/volume to allow for the adaptation process to occur. This is how we find our true strength.
