Question: Does therapy or counselling always need to be urgent care?

Answer: In most cases, No!

Seeking mental and emotional care often needs the clients insight of what happened and how it makes them feel. So, processing needs time and immediate intervention can sometimes confuse the thinker/feeler rather than normalising the experience 💡

Let’s share this and get more opinions from you💬

Second week into the month of June. following a fun family picnic, we needed to rest & of course passion didn’t let that happen😅

Coming back with great news and all we can say is STAY TUNED 🎙️🎙️🎙️🎙️

Mental health challenges among young people have reached unprecedented levels in recent years. Factors such as academic pressures, social media influence, family dynamics, and global uncertainties have all contributed to a rise in anxiety, depression, and other mental health issues among the youth. Understanding and addressing these challenges is crucial for fostering a healthy, resilient generation.

In this segment, we will feature a series of “Power Talk Clips” – brief, impactful audio snippets from Katlego Moagi a mental health professional, and advocate. Each clip is designed to shed light on various aspects of youth mental health, offering perspectives, tips and techniques that are both educational and inspirational.

Tune in every Wednesday to Mahikeng fm 96.7 SEIKOKOTLELO SA LOAGO for “Power Talk Clips: Youth and Mental Health”. Let’s create a supportive community where young people feel heard, understood, and empowered to take charge of their mental well-being.
