Spinal surgery #8 Elongation #7 💚

I want to thank God for keeping us, especially Milan in His hands. He kept him under his blood and blessed Prof. Dunn's hands during surgery.

Prof. Dunn and team, we are so blessed to have you doing Milan's surgeries. Your simply the best! We have prayed so hard for an appointment to meet you and now 4 years later we still walk this path together for Milan. We appreciate you.

When I share these updates regarding Milan's surgery I always try to get the right word to express my gratitude, but really it's so difficult to put in words what your prayers and support means to us. THANK you, all of you. We stay humble by all your love and support.

Milan! Our soldier, Jesus se soldaatjie! We are so proud of you. You fight so hard and you always amaze everyone with your determination and strength. We know it comes from above 🙌🏼 We love you and we will always be by your side.

We are home safe, now we continue to pray for complete healing 🙏🏼

Dear Milan,

📚 - each day is a new page, do your best and God will take care of the rest.
✏️ - use your pencil to practice your work, write your name and know that Jesus called you by your name, He is with you and loves you.
🖍️ - colour your school year bright by being the light of Christ, be kind and sharing with others.
🍎 - always remember you're 'apple-so-lutely' the best.

Thank you Lord for blessing us with another school year so learn and grow.

We are so proud of you Milan and we pray that you will be very happy in Gr. 2 🎒

Elizna en Jean Pierre Dellemijn se wêreld het in ’n oogwink verander toe hul seuntjie klein Jhanko met Prader Willi sindroom gebore is, ’n uiters seldsame genetiese afwyking wat slegs by sowat een uit elke 15 000 babas voorkom.

Sedert sy geboorte veg Jhanko in die hospitaal, verbind aan buise en suurstof, terwyl sy ouers dag vir dag hoop en geloof aanmekaar vaswerk. Elizna het gesê:

“Ek kan dit nie beskryf nie; dié ding moet nooit met iemand gebeur nie.”

Die gesin leef tussen hospitaalbesoeke, ventilators, operasies en aanhoudende onsekerheid, maar ook met ’n geloof wat bly staan. Hulle hardloop tans ’n Back a Buddy veldtog om mediese koste en tuisversorging te help dra.
