Busamed Paardevlei Private Hospital is pleased to announce and congratulate Dr. Charle Viljoen on the successful launch of the Faraview mapping system and Farapulse Pulsed Field Ablation technology, which took place at the hospital on Tuesday, 26 August 2025.

This advanced technology is now available to patients with atrial fibrillation, following the successful completion of two Pulsed Field Ablation procedures performed on the day.

Pulsed Field Ablation represents a safer and more precise treatment option for patients with atrial fibrillation. The Faraview 3D mapping system provides detailed visualisation of the atrium, enabling highly accurate delivery of ablations and enhancing procedural outcomes.

We extend our congratulations to Dr. Viljoen and the entire electrophysiology team for their role in this milestone. Together, we remain committed to investing in the latest technology and delivering the highest quality clinical outcomes for our patients.đź’™
