💙 From Our Hearts to Yours 💙
We would like to express our deepest and most heartfelt thanks to Dis-Chem Pharmacy Valley Hyper for their incredibly kind and thoughtful contribution to Nelspruit Hospice.
Your generous donation of goodies already meant so much — but the love and care shown in beautifully wrapping each item truly touched our hearts. It’s the little details, the time, and the thought behind them that make such a big difference.
Because of your kindness, we are able to bring comfort, dignity, and moments of joy to the patients and families we serve during some of their most difficult times. ✨
Thank you for standing with us, for caring so deeply, and for reminding us that compassion is alive and well in our community.

Today we observe World TB Day, a reminder that tuberculosis (TB) remains a serious global health challenge—but it is both preventable and curable with the right care.

If you are diagnosed with TB, it is essential to complete your full course of medication, even if you start to feel better before treatment ends. Stopping treatment early can lead to drug-resistant TB, which is far more difficult to treat.

Key steps to help prevent and manage TB:

Seek early testing if you experience symptoms such as a persistent cough, fever, night sweats, or unexplained weight loss.

Adhere strictly to treatment as prescribed by your healthcare provider.

Maintain good ventilation in living and working spaces to reduce the spread of infection.

Practice good respiratory hygiene, including covering your mouth when coughing and wearing a mask if advised.

Support your immune system through proper nutrition and overall health care.

Encourage awareness and reduce stigma, so more people feel comfortable seeking help early.

Together, through awareness, early detection, and proper treatment, we can work towards ending TB.
