Did you know: Dogs and Cats Can Get Breast Cancer Too?

Just like in humans, mammary cancer is a real concern for female pets, especially those who haven’t been spayed before their first or second heat or are overweight as puppies.

Early spaying reduces the risk dramatically but isn’t always appropriate for all dogs.

If you notice any lumps, don’t wait. Bring them in for a check up and lump aspirate. We can detect cancerous changes early and surgically remove the problem area before there is a risk of spread or major surgery due to the size of large masses. Early detection can save lives.

Drs Ulandi, Katoo and Jacqui all had puppies that recently graduated from Lowveld Canine Coaching's puppy classes. 🎓 Ghost, Hunter and Domino loved all the snacks! 🐾

We strongly believe that puppy socialisation helps dogs to feel confident, well-adapted to meeting new doggy and people friends and strengthens the bonds with our pets.

I'm a big dog and I was bitten on my nose by a small snake when I tried to give it a big kiss.

My parents rushed me to my vet in their small car because I started to barf up my breakfast and I couldn't stand on my big legs. My dad had carefully caught the small snake to show my doctor...
She said that the small snake was a black mamba. Oops!

My vet gave me 4 small vials of magic medicine. Dad says those vials come with a big price tag but that it was worth it to save my big life.

Hey big dogs, tell your parents to get pet insurance for you! 🐶
