Studying New Venture Creation NQF Level 2, Sphelele completed all theory components and moved on to his practicals where he found an incredible host site, Leidane Trading (PTY) Ltd. At Ledaine, Sphelele assisted their team while learning new skills in stock management and order processing 📦📊

Spudding farmers! 🥔🌱

Our Plant Production learners set out to grow potatoes—and they delivered! 👏

At our academy and farm, learners experimented with different growing methods, including vertically stacked car tyres and traditional soil beds. They also explored rooting techniques by suspending potatoes partially in water to stimulate root growth 💧🌿

The result? A successful harvest and a whole lot of learning along the way! 🙌 Best of all, the harvested potatoes were shared with our local partner churches, who help distribute food to communities in need ❤️

What a blessing it is to equip our learners with practical skills while making a meaningful impact in our community 🌍

Thank you to the incredible team at iKhokha for hosting Khulisani for a jam-packed day of connection, reflection and celebration 🙌

Our exiting group of learners shared their journeys, from successes to challenges, offering valuable advice to the new group of learners who are just starting their businesses. The day also celebrated their achievements with handing over of completion certificates and special awards📜

The new group of learners were equipped with iKhokha flyer card machines, opening the door to new business opportunities and boosting their confidence to step into the market 💼

Well done to our Plant Production NQF Level 1 learners for successfully growing and harvesting healthy crops 🌽

This fresh produce was donated to a Howick church feeding programme, making all their hard work truly meaningful 🤝

Our learners applied their knowledge of soil science, irrigation and garden maintenance to nurture these crops from seedling to harvest.
Now it’s time for the next planting season… what should we grow next? 🌱

Our New Venture Creation learners kicked off the day with confident business presentations and updates from their practical host sites 💼
We then visited our Business Administration learners at schools and organisations, where they’re gaining real workplace experience and growing every day 📚
