🔥 CARBS FOR PERFORMANCE & RECOVERY 🔥

Carbs aren’t the enemy — they’re your body’s primary energy source, especially when you train like an athlete.

When you fuel with quality carbs like sweet potato, rice, oats or fruit, you’re giving your muscles the glycogen they need to lift heavier, move faster and recover better.

Here’s why carbs matter:
✔️ Performance: Power your lifts, sprints, and high-intensity workouts.
✔️ Recovery: Refill muscle glycogen so you can come back stronger tomorrow.
✔️ Hormone Support: Regulate cortisol and keep your metabolism happy.
✔️ Sustained Energy: No crashes, just steady fuel.

If you want to optimize your training, don’t under-eat your carbs.  time them wisely and use them to your advantage.

Carb Portion Guide
Women: 3–5 g carbs per kg bodyweight (moderate training)
Men: 4–6 g carbs per kg bodyweight

Quick food equivalents:
🍠 100 g sweet potato = 20 g carbs
🍚 1 cup rice = 45 g
🍌 1 banana = 27 g
