The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned of a growing Chikungunya epidemic, a mosquito-borne virus causing fever, severe joint pain, rash, and fatigue. Though rarely fatal, symptoms can be very painful and long-lasting.

🔹 Over 3 million cases reported in 2023
🔹 Rapid spread in Africa, Asia & the Americas
🔹 Transmitted by the Aedes mosquito (also spreads Dengue & Zika)

💡 Protect Yourself:
✔️ Use repellent
✔️ Avoid standing water
✔️ Wear long sleeves
✔️ Seek care if symptoms appear after travel
