🧠 Learn Life-Saving Basics in 1 Powerful Session!

We are offering a 3–4 hour First Aid knowledge workshop designed for community members who want to learn how to respond in emergencies.

❤️ WHAT YOU WILL LEARN

✔ How to perform CPR (Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation)
✔ What to do if someone is choking
✔ How to respond in basic emergency situations
✔ How to stay calm and act quickly in a crisis
✔ Simple, practical First Aid awareness skills

📌 IMPORTANT INFORMATION

⏱ Duration: 3–4 hours
📍 Location: Community-based venues (townships & local halls)
💰 Cost: R100 per person
🎓 This is a basic knowledge workshop (NOT a certified First Aid qualification)
🧠 Focus: Awareness, confidence, and practical life-saving basics

🚨 ROAD ACCIDENT SAFETY WARNING 🚨

One of the most dangerous mistakes after a vehicle collision is removing a patient from the vehicle without proper indication.

Unless there is an immediate life-threatening hazard such as fire, explosion risk, or unsafe environment, the patient should NOT be moved.

Unnecessary removal can cause:

⚠️ Worsening of spinal injuries
⚠️ Internal bleeding complications
⚠️ Increased risk of paralysis or death

The safest action is:

✔️ Ensure scene safety
✔️ Stabilise the patient in the vehicle
✔️ Control bleeding if present
✔️ Reassure and monitor
✔️ Wait for trained emergency medical professionals

Remember: If in doubt, don’t move — stabilise and wait.

Every second counts, but so does doing the right thing. 🚑

As the cold sets in, many families in our community will face it without the basics. No blankets, no warm clothes, and sometimes even no food.

For the past 4 years, our Winter Drive has been dedicated to changing that story.

Together, we can bring warmth, dignity, and hope to those who need it most. ❤️
