I always call food served in a bowl a "happy meal" because it's like digging for pieces of heavenly delight 😌 For today's I have included a wonderful option for you to use as a breakfast or fruity snack when looking to heal -

Mixing the healing ingredients of papaya, blueberries and bananas this dish not only satisfies the taste buds but it also encourages healing from within. The combined power of these 3 fruits creates a healing blend that supports *digestion*, *detoxification*, *neurological health* and *emotional balance*.

*Papaya Bowl*

*Ingredients*

4 cups chopped papaya
2 tbsps raw honey or pure maple syrup, or 2 pitted Medjool dates
1 tbsp freshly squeezed lime juice (optional)

*Toppings*

1 fresh ripe banana, sliced
2 tbsps wild blueberries, fresh or thawed frozen

*Directions*

Place the papaya, raw honey, and lime juice (if using) in a blender. Blend until smooth. Pour into a serving bowl and top with sliced banana and wild blueberries. Serve immediately.

It was during my healing journey that I began to dabble in a few hobbies - 5 years on I have a basketful of different things that I lean into from birdwatching, painting, crocheting, dancing, singing, yoga, trail walking, language learning and miniature making my world of inspiration and creation is full!

Research shows that when you engage in a hobby you invite amazing benefits into your life which includes a reduction of stress, improved mental health, better physical well-being, and enhanced cognitive skills like problem-solving.

The below is a condensed list of the top hobbies that aid mindfulness, longevity, health and mental well-being :-

Holidays come with many obstacles when trying to navigate your pathway to health and healing ✨

I hope you find the following tips useful to assist you in navigating your way through the tinsel, toasts and festivities 🀍

- opt for lean cuts of protein (chicken, fish and ostrich are great options)
- choose loads of veggies over the meat trimmings
- incorporate potatoes / sweet potatoes / butternut / pumpkin as main dishes to bulk up your meals (roasted, mashed or steamed)
- choose sauces that are low fat ie vinaigrettes, roasted veg, tomato based sauces
- create desserts using dates and maple syrup
- think fruit when wanting to eat something sweet
- hydrate, hydrate, hydrate: stick with the morning protocol of lemon water, celery juice and your smoothie plus incorporate cucumber juice and watermelon slushies!
- skip the champagne and create a signature sparkling drink using a dash of good quality tequila with sparkling water and pomegranate kernels

Creating memories need not incorporate a heavy creamed, fatty meal - think fresh salads, roasted vegetables and clean protein 😌
