Medi-Equikids Providing sanctuary to children with chronic, rare and serious illnesses and their families to allow them to experience life to the full.

As a team , we have noticed a lack of opportunities for children with chronic and rare diseases to experience the carefreeness of childhood. At our laid-back smallholding in Midrand we provide just that- a chance to just be. In conjunction with this , we are led by our observations in the children to facilitate experiential learning , based in the Equine Assited Learning (EAL) modality. Furthermore , we provide support for the families and main caregivers of these children. The sessions are hosted by Registered Nurses with EAL training , so parents can rest easy knowing that any medical needs will be taken care of . Contact us for more information and bookings.
