Holy Smokes, I Made It! Confessions of a Milestone Birthday
Hitting one of those big birthdays feels less like another year and more like a total psychological earthquake! Lately, I’ve been completely hit with the feeling of, "Holy smokes, I actually survived all that and made it this far!"

Psychologists call it a "Life Review," but really, it's just my brain pulling up the real highlight reel - the messy, tough stuff that proves I’m a survivor:
• Navigating the death of my mother and figuring out how to keep going.
• Fighting and beating a life-threatening illness after a gruelling year of treatment.
• All the emotional chaos of brutal break-ups, joyous make-ups, and exhausting house moves.
• And so much more…

I look at that list and realise: I didn't just passively exist. I persevered. This moment is a giant high-five to myself for everything I've overcome!

This milestone has triggered a Great Priority Reset. The small stuff has melted away. Now, Authenticity and Joy are the only priorities that matter, because I know firsthand how precious and fragile time is.

I'm taking all that hard-won wisdom - the grief, the health scares, the fresh starts, and prepping for the next act. The best parts of my story are the ones I get to write, starting now!
