A stroke can occur at any time, to anyone but there's a lot you can do to help reduce your risk. Likewise, there's also a lot you can do to help aid recovery if you do suffer from a stroke. This includes: limiting the amount of red meat you eat to no more than 2-3 times a week; reducing the amount of salt you consume (by not cooking with it and avoiding processed foods); and by taking your medication exactly as your doctor prescribes.
