Fitness is not just for looks, or at least, it shouldn’t be. Being fit and healthy is the ideal way to try to live well into older age. Regular exercise now, will likely make for a strong body later on.

The Norwegian Protocol or 4x4 Method is a style of HIIT training that is rapidly gaining popularity. This method will help improve your VO2max, strength, mobility, endurance, and balance. It is gaining attention as a high‐efficiency cardiovascular endurance strategy.

Holidays are essential for getting some much-needed rest, but many people find it difficult to jumpstart their routines or make better routines after the holidays.
Here are 3 steps to reset after the holidays:

1. Regular Exercise
Even 30 minutes a day will hold you in good stead and keep you healthier than before. Take a walk, do some yoga or a few of my quick workouts if you can’t commit to going to the gym.

2. Journaling or Mindfulness Activities
This is more for your mental health, because I believe your mental and physical health play off one another. Scheduling time to be present and think, will help you handle your emotions and thoughts in a healthy and productive way.

3. Improve Your Diet
Food is medicine. A balanced diet has healing properties that if bottled would cost a fortune! Fuelling your body the way it needs to be fuelled is essential for physical and mental health as diet impacts everything!

As this year comes to a close, this is a great time to consider the year you’ve had. Recapping the year helps you put a period in place at the end of one point so you can start fresh and ideally better, next year.

Ask yourself:
⭐Did you achieve the goals you had for yourself in 2025?
⭐Are you happy with your overall health?
⭐Do you see a difference from last year to this year? Is it positive or negative?
⭐Is there something you regret doing or not doing this year? Will you do something different in future?
⭐Are you happy with your diet? Do you feel nourished?
⭐What are your goals for 2026?
