Your first Body Stress Release session is all about understanding your body and its history.
Before your appointment, you will complete an online form that allows me to gather a detailed medical and case history. This helps identify past injuries, stressors and areas that may be affecting your body today.
When you arrive at the practice, we will discuss your form together and address any questions or concerns. You will then have your first BSR session.
Treatment is gentle, you remain fully clothed and light, specific pressure is applied to indicate areas of stored tension.
After the session, discomfort or pain may fluctuate as your body begins to adjust and release tension. This is a normal part of the healing process. You are able to continue with your day as usual, while listening to your body and taking it a bit easier if needed.
