What is Homeopathy?

Homeopathy is a therapeutic medical system which is based on the observation that substances that are capable of causing diseases of the mind or body in healthy people can be used in the dilute form as remedies to treat the similar disorder in someone who is ill. This is the homeopathic Law of Similars, also expressed as “Let Likes be Cured by Likes“ 🌱

🗝️ The key to successful homeopathic treatment is identifying the similarity between the effects of the original substance in healthy people and the pattern of illness in the individual who is sick. For this reason, the homeopathic method involves an exceptionally holistic and detailed description of the patient, the illness and its evolution.

In order to be treated truly homeopathically, one needs to consult with a registered practitioner. Although homeopathic products can be bought over-the-counter, holistic treatment should be prescribed by a homeopathic doctor 🩺

In 2004 het ek die vertrouensprong geneem om van Kempton Park na Mosselbaai te verhuis en my Homeopatie praktyk te open.

Today I look back on the past 20 years with a grateful heart. As Mossel Bay grew, I grew and I've added more treatment and diagnostic modalities to my practice. I offer Nutritional live blood analysis and Iris diagnosis. I'm also the fist in South Africa to use the Copen Scope Q (Quantum analysis of DNA) to test a variety of intolerances and imbalances.

Ek is een van drie "Wahls Protocol" praktisyne in Suid Afrika ('n leefstyl protokol spesifiek vir Auto-Immuun siekstes). Om stres reg te hanteer is belangrik vir optimale gesondheid, daarom bied ek ook "Tension and Trauma releasing exercises" by my praktyk aan.

I am a frequent speaker on radio and news channels. As part of the Homeopathic association of South Africa's (HSA) drive to promote homeopathy, I will be presenting a talk on "The Homeopathic treatment for irritable bowl syndrome" in October (follow homeopathy.org.za for more info).
