Focus Trust Believe is a motivational brand! FTB is a mantra that any person could live by that want The brand. I think not, rather FTB.

The Story behind the mantra F.T.B: (want to write a book one day) The story almost needs to lead the brand; people then can also associate their own life stories and their success to the mantra ie. The brand. My whole life as it is; is a succession of moments that have helped me achieve my dreams and end up having a dream job. I only really noticed this after I was introduced to FTB The first notable moment where FTB came into play was when I finally made it onto the pro surfing tour. As a kid growing up all I wanted to do was become a pro surfer. I always battled to get sponsors and at the time I always said to myself: “one day I’ll meet someone who believes in me and will help me get on tour and find sponsors” In walks my sister’s boyfriend at the time, James. Multimillionaire from London who owns and IT company (FTB universal energy). He sponsored my first couple years on tour and helps me nail a couple sponsors with Bollè sunglasses and Gul wetsuits and clothing. So here I am leaving out my dream, traveling the world, seeing amazing places and meeting incredible people all of whom had a special role in my life. Then my focus changed and I thought I was ready to settle down, which is when I met a lady, the relationship was the start of the next stage of my life. This unsuccessful relationship caused me to move to Wales to work and get away from all the negativity. So with a broken heart and a grade 3 tear in my knee and unable to surf I headed to Wales to work. One of my very first lessons was with a young girl, Annabel Davies. After the lesson that evening her Mom, Anita, calls me and asks me “what have you done to my daughter?” “I have never seen her so happy, she’s walking down the corridor skipping and singing,” Anita goes onto to say. So I met with Anita and her family to take them all surfing and it turns out Anita is a Reiki healer, coincidence? I think not, rather FTB. Anita works on my knee and give me my first mantra, Compassion, Understanding and Forgiveness, to heal the heart. After that process was complete she introduced me to FOCUS TRSUT BELIEVE With this mantra I went onto win the UK Triple Crown in 2007 and to finish 2nd overall on the British pro Tour. At this stage I decide to move back to SA as I’m no longer on the World surf Tour and am pretty much based full time in the UK. In 2008 I move back to SA to start a LEARN to surf school in my hometown of Mossel bay. When I get back my long time friend, Liam Wood, gives me the DVD, universal energy and introduces me to two young groms (surfer kids) with a bright future. So Waves School of surfing begins not doing learn to surf but rather elite/advanced coaching. Through using FTB I have worked myself to a position of being one of the best coaches in the country. Also by using FTB and by been more specific in my FTB, I met my wife, Lynette Whittaker. Since moving back I have reached many milestones and won many surfing titles by using FTB and getting to better understand it. Since starting the surf school I’ve always wanted to start a brand called FTB but never saw the opportunity, as it would require a lot of capital. In walks Domnick de Agrella; an old school mate with whom I’ve come a long way. He started doing very well for himself in health and safety; I finally plucked up the courage to ask if he’d like to invest and he said yes. (FTB) FTB goes even further in starting the brand. I tell Anita I’m starting the brand and she tells a friend of her’s, Leigh who is the vice chaiman of Swansea football club. He calls a meeting with myself and his collegue, Brian, who owns 20% of Swansea football club and Umbro SA. Two incredible contacts have been made which is a great start in developing a new brand. So this is how FTB has worked for me and it can work for you too however there are a few things to remember when using FTB: • You have to BELIEVE in the mantra, yourself, universal energy and God • You have to be specific and have a clear image of what you want to achieve • You need to be patient, what you FTB on does not always come immediately or in the exact way you envisioned. • Always be grateful when it does happen • Never give up and always work hard • Write it down
