Effective patient care requires accurate assessment, diagnosis always preceding management. A comprehensive case history and orthopedic evaluation is used for differential diagnosis and if indicated referral for x-rays may be required. These will be assessed and explained in relation to the presenting complaint and used during treatment aimed at improving spinal mobility and posture. Effective long-lasting treatment requires not only increased mobility of joints but strength in the supporting soft tissues.
