🌱 Parolee Rehabilitation Through Food Security | KwaMsane, eMbotsheni

Launched in July 2025, this community-driven initiative empowers parolees through hands-on work in sustainable food gardens 🍅🌾

Funded by the EPWP through the Independent Development Trust (IDT), and supported by the Department of Correctional Services (DCS), the programme helps parolees gain agricultural skills, rebuild dignity, and reintegrate into society, while strengthening local food security 🤝💚

Department of Science,Technology and Innovation SA Deputy Minister Gina and her team joined us for a meaningful visit to 5 of our DSTI funded computer labs in KZN 💻

We were also joined by DDG Ms. Nombuyiselo Mokoena and Director Ms. Nozipho Zambuko amongst others from the Department of Education and community leaders💚

The morning was filled with inspiring words from the principal, coaches, community leaders, and of course, the Deputy Minister herself🌻
