Safe spaces save lives 💙

During March, Mpilonhle facilitated two empowerment support sessions at our uMnambithi (Ladysmith) Pop Inn Men’s Health Clinic. Creating a space where individuals could connect, share, and access vital health and wellness support without fear or judgement.

Because everyone deserves care, dignity, and a community that supports them 🤝🏽

South Africa has received its first shipment of Lenacapavir, with close to 38,000 doses of the new HIV prevention medicine arriving in the country.

The six-monthly injectable is expected to help people who struggle to access or stick to existing prevention methods, especially vulnerable groups such as young women, s*x workers and men who have s*x with men.

The Department of Health says Lenacapavir is preventive medicine, not a vaccine, and plans to announce a phased rollout in the coming weeks.

Health authorities believe the long-acting injection could help cut new HIV infections and support South Africa’s goal of ending AIDS as a public health threat by 2030.

Strong families start with empowered parents 💛

Our team of social workers recently hosted a Parenting Programme session with parents from King Cetshwayo District, equipping them with practical parenting styles and skills to better support their children at home.

It was a meaningful and engaging session, and we’re proud to continue creating spaces for learning, growth, and stronger communities 🌱

Empowering young minds, one click at a time 💻✨

Our Computer Lab sessions at Masibonisane High School continue to create a space where learners can explore, learn, and grow, with dedicated coaches guiding them every step of the way.

Even in moments of uncertainty, our commitment to these learners remains unchanged. Because access to digital skills isn’t a luxury, it’s a necessity for the future 🌍
