The name 'Green Cathedral of South Africa' is derived from a media publication and, until August 1 2011, used as an alias for 'Soekershof; Private Mazes & Botanical Gardens in South Africa'; located in the tranquil Klaas Voogds area near the small town of Robertson. In August 2011 Green Cathedral of South Africa moved to Stanford, Western Cape. Since April 2016 the enterprise resides in Napier as does a precious collection of plants.

"Photography has always been a way to express my emotions in a silent way, through my photo’s I intend on stirring your imagination and touch your heart. I also will show you things that sometimes in our busy world we miss really seeing or taking you into a virtual adventure with me as I experience some of life’s amazing moments.

While I prefer to photograph mostly nature I have found that working one on one with farm animals is also very rewarding. Hence I made a series of portraits of ‘talking cows’ which will be exhibited during Creative Napier.
On-site provides a wide range of backgrounds and I prefer to use natural light over flash giving you a visually stimulating photo.

I take a lot of care with composition, I believe the most gratifying photos are created inside the camera”.
