Here is a step by step guide how we restored the tooth . First a root canal was done. Then a post and core and slight crown lengthening. Finally a crown was prepped, fabricated, then cemented

This patient that came in was the mother of the bride of a case I posted on July 14 th. After seeing her husbands new teeth, she decide she also wanted a beautiful smile for the wedding festivities. Her old partial denture looked ill fitting and the size of the teeth didn’t match her own . Her lateral incisors had an abcess so we removed them , added them to the new partial denture and voila!!! A beautiful new smile and set of teeth 🦷

This patient lost their old Maryland bridge and needed a replacement. We just cleaned up the old prep area , took impressions and cemented a new one in . The advantage of this is no local anaesthetic was needed and not much cutting of tooth structure had to be done . A full bridge would have been more retentive (as he did lose the previous one)but with cost factor at play, we settled on a Maryland bridge again.
