You’re not crazy.
Sometimes it feels like you can’t get a full breath. You keep sighing. You yawn all the way through the day. Your chest feels tight.
And the strange part? You’re breathing the whole time.
When we’re stressed, even subtly, we often start over breathing. Not dramatic hyperventilating. Just slightly faster, slightly bigger, slightly higher in the chest.
Small, but over time your brain reads it as: something isn’t right. And that triggers fight or flight.
So you try to take deeper breaths. And the cycle continues.
Here’s the thing, most breathless women I work with aren’t lacking oxygen. They’re stuck in a subtle pattern of over breathing.
When we gently retrain, slower, quieter, lower, through the nose, that air hunger softens.
You are not broken. Your system is just a little overstimulated.
