Did you know myopia isn't just about needing glasses? It's about how the eye grows.
In children, myopia typically develops when the eye grows too long, too quickly, or keeps growing past the age it should stop (around 10–12 years).
In teenagers, it can worsen or even appear for the first time around puberty. Add in heavy screen use and less time outdoors, and it's easy to see why myopia is on the rise.
The good news? Early action can slow progression, and that starts with knowing your child's risk.
