"My name is Jason Claude Pereira, I’m 46 years old, and I’m an ILS medic at South Metro Constantiaberg. I’ve been with ER24 for a total of 23 years, although 20 are officially recorded. I remember my very first day at ER24 quite well. I had just moved over from a service provider to ER24 when many of the smaller services joined forces to form what became ER24 Western Cape. I started at the Milnerton branch as a thin ‘outjie’, and when they handed me my first flight suit, it was way too big. I remember complaining about it, and they told me, “I’d grow into it”.
