✨ The Art of Energy Healing: A Practice of Surrender ✨
My dear friends, we get so caught up in the doing of things, don’t we?
We think that in order to be well, we must do something — fix ourselves, control our thoughts, and conquer our ailments.
But this is the great illusion — the idea that the “self” is a little pilot inside the great machine of the body, frantically pulling levers to keep it running.
What Energy Healing Really Is..
When we speak of “energy healing,” what are we really talking about?
It’s not some mystical force that a practitioner shoots into you like a bolt of lightning.
Even the word “healing” implies that something is broken and must be fixed — creating a false duality of “healer” and “healed,” “good” and “bad” energy.
But here’s the truth: your energy, your life force, is already flowing.
The universe is one continuous process, and you are not separate from it.
You are a wave in the ocean — and the ocean is not doing anything to the wave. The wave is the ocean’s doing.
Wu Wei — The Power of Effortless Action
Energy healing is, in essence, a practice of wu wei — effortless action.
It is not about swimming harder against the current, but about letting go and allowing yourself to float.
The practitioner’s role is not to “give” you energy.
They are more like a mirror — helping you notice where you are holding tension, holding your breath, or forcing life to move your way.
Like Muddy Water
It is like muddy water.
If you stir it, fuss with it, and try to clear it, it only stays cloudy.
But if you leave it alone — if you simply allow — the mud settles, and the water becomes clear.
Healing as Remembering
Energy healing is a practice of surrender — a deep trust in the natural intelligence of the organism you are.
It is the art of letting go of the mind’s incessant meddling, of softening the grip on control, of resting into the quiet truth that you are already whole.
The “healer” and the “healed” are not two separate beings, but two sides of the same dance.
And in that realization, the healing has already begun.
