We're delivering orders this afternoon, and then we will be sold out until we get a fresh consigment of masks from our lovely seamstresses on Wednesday. Meanwhile please message us with your orders.

We have had a number of queries for delivery in the Constantia area - I will collate and coordinate deliveries there next week. Please, meanwhile consider buying in bulk and distributing in your neigbourhood.

A nifty pleating device designed by Smask's own genius Maria von Egidy and built by the talented Christo Holloway - this will save us a great deal of time in the prep for sewing masks - and make the final product even more AmAzing!

Here are the prices for our Smasks, sold in packs of 3. They are made with 2 layers 100% fine cotton, and two layers non-woven interlining. - 4 ply protection.

For 1 - 30 packs : R120- per pack. (R40- per mask)
for 30 -200 packs : R 105- per pack. ( R35- per mask )
200- 500 packs : R 96- per pack ( R32- per mask )
500 - 1000 packs. : R90 - per pack ( R30- per mask )
1000 plus packs. : please request price by sending message.

Our Smasks are extremely soft, breathable and well made, classic pleated style in white only for now. We will shortly be adding more styles to our range.

The masks are cut in sterile conditions at our studio in Salt River, then shipped out to machinists working from home under equally safe and hygienic conditions. We then collect the masks and give them a sterilising steam iron with industrial equipment at our studio, and pack them immediately into sealed bags for distribution.

We have our Smasks for sale at the Sea Point Spar, where the owner has generously decided not to add a cent in mark-up, so please if you are in the area, do purchase your Smasks from there.

We are making 4 ply personal face masks, 100% fine cotton outer with 2 layers of spunbond material inside - here in Cape Town. We use high quality fabrics and best practice in manufacturing - these masks should still be good to use for at least 100 washes.

This is all very sudden and a response to a crisis, but we are grateful for this opportunity to make use of our staff and facilities (we were making costumes before this) and hopefully provide a useful product for the safety and comfort of people in this time.

Our staff are working from home to make these masks - we cut them at our studio, send them to the homes of our seamstresses, and then collect finished masks and bring them back to studio. Here we do the final finishes, quality control and sterilisation with steam and then pack and distribute them.
