St Stephen’s Oncology Centre is the first comprehensive Oncology Centre in the Winelands district, situated at number 6 School Street, Northern Paarl. It opened its doors for Oncology services in November of 2014 with a Sub-acute Hospital, licensed to operate as of 2015. The Premier of Western Cape officially open the centre on 6 March 2015. St Stephen’s is the first Oncology unit in the Boland, providing a vital and convenient service cancer care to the local community, as well as patients from surrounding districts. Patients are now able to receive radiotherapy, chemotherapy as well as palliative care at this facility. With an oncologist on-site daily, patients can be treated fast and effectively, and continue follow-up visits in their own community.
