🤢 Nausea & Vomiting: When to Seek Urgent Care 🤮
We all know nausea and vomiting can be an unpleasant and common experience, especially during the hot summer months. But sometimes, it can be a sign of something more serious. At SanoMed PHC, we want you to know when to seek urgent medical attention.
⚠️ If nausea or vomiting is accompanied by any of the following symptoms, seek care immediately:
✅ Severe Headache
✅ Chest Pain
✅ Watery Diarrhoea
✅ Neck Stiffness, Drowsiness, Confusion, or a Purple/Red Rash
✅ Severe Abdominal Pain, especially in the lower right region, or pain spreading to the back
✅ Low Blood Pressure (Below 90/60)
✅ Vomiting Blood
✅ Jaundice (Yellowing of the Skin or Eyes)
✅ Abdominal Pain with No Bowel Movements or Gas
✅ Rapid, Deep Breathing with Confusion or Drowsiness
✅ Sudden Nausea/Vomiting with Any of These Allergy Symptoms:
- Generalized Itching or Rash
- Swelling of the Face or Tongue
- Wheezing or Difficulty Breathing
- Low Blood Pressure (Below 90/60)
- Dizziness, Collapse, or Exposure to a Possible Allergen
