💔 Today, we had to say goodbye to our dear Curly, one of the cherished members of The Vales family. Her wagging tail, playful spirit, and endless love brightened every corner of our lives.

Curly shared a very special bond with her best friend Vusi, our beloved gardener, who left us in December. It’s hard to imagine The Vales without these two kind souls together.

Rest in peace, sweet Curly. You will be forever in our hearts, and your memory will continue to bring smiles to everyone who knew you. 🐾❤️

The Vales, established in 2010 by Val Ball, a Grey’s Trained Nursing Sister since 1983, and her husband Les.

The Vales is a very special place, situated in the tranquil, coastal village of Pennington where residents enjoy the peace and harmony of the surrounds which flows through our gardens of our upmarket, comfortable facility. Interest and participation in the garden is always a topic of conversation.

The Vales is one of a few homes that welcomes and is specifically designed for Dementia and Alzheimer’s care. Our Frail Care home is specially created with this in mind and allows for easy flow of activities and catering to the needs of our residents.

Our commitment to each resident and their family is to uphold the dignity of the elderly by providing a caring, supportive and protective surrounding. Each resident is a part of The Vales family and is treated as such.
