Situated in tranquil surroundings, anchored by one of the city’s historical homes, it has been taking care of seniors in the Maritzburg community for more than 40 years. It is home to 132 senior residents in a range of facilities including independent living, board and lodging, and frail care. These varied facilities cater to all possible living options including affordability.

INDEPENDENT LIVING AT AFFORDABLE RATES.
Marian Villa offers independent living in a small, secluded and secure complex; close to shopping malls, doctors and hospitals.
Marian Villa currently has an independent, free standing, 2 bedroomed cottage for under a million rand and a Studio / Bachelor cottage for R560 000. Levies are R3095 and R2180 respectively.
Cottages are sold on a life rights basis. Marian Villa also provides accommodation option for people who might not want the responsibility of cooking and cleaning for themselves. High Care is available for those needing temporary or long term care.

Pietermaritzburg Girls' High School Interact club - making a difference! This group of 12 amazing girls helped out at our fète on Saturday. Their help was invaluable. Without them many of our stalls would have battled to cope.
And; They wore their uniforms on a Saturday, and made their school proud 😀.

Marian Villa celebrated a fabulous Fete day, thanks to our convenor Jane Bannister and the residents who work incredibly hard to make this happen. All the volunteers, especially Sarie and her family as well as the Pietermaritzburg Girls' High School girls went out of their way to make this a special day. A great deal of Money was made for the Residents' Fund.
Tea and friendships were enjoyed in the tea garden, where the vibe was greatly improved by the music that is Mosaic Funeral Group's special gift. A huge shout out to Craig from Mosaic who gave up his Saturday morning to make our day fabulous.
To everyone who supported us Thank You!!!!

Marian Villa was treated to a performance by a world class Tenor🎶, South Africa's very own Chris Coetzer. His velvety rich voice, and his ability to entertain was a treat few of our residents would be in a position to access ; so for him to make the time and effort to come to us was a privilege greatly appreciated. Thank you Veronica and AVBOB South Africa for facilitating this wonderful morning🥰.
