There are communal lounges, dining rooms and outdoor areas where residents can socialise with one another as desired. Recreational activities include games hour, movie afternoons, as well as gardening. Our residents are encouraged to customise the rooms and make them their own. We have double and single ensuite rooms available. Some of these offer kitchenettes or verandahs as well. Villa Assumpta was run by the Oakford Congregation of Dominican Sisters for many years. Whilst is it now managed by PADCA, the ethos of care and warmth created by the Sisters has continued. Villa Siena, adjacent to Villa Assumpta, is still home to Sisters who have retired from active ministry, and who attend regular services in the chapel and visit the residents.
