Today we celebrate courage, kindness, and dreams coming true 💙

One of our residents, Janie, who is bound to an electric wheelchair, has always had a dream — to ride on a motorbike and feel the freedom of the open road. Thanks to a true Good Samaritan, that dream became a reality!

A very special and heartfelt THANK YOU to Ashley his wife and Ann Janies friend for making this possible. You gave Janie more than just a ride — you gave her an unforgettable experience filled with joy, laughter, and pure freedom.

They took a beautiful drive out to Hilton, enjoyed a lovely lunch, and safely returned home with the biggest smiles.

In Janie’s own words:
"I felt free.... the wind in my hair, the excitement… I was just so happy."

Moments like these remind us that it’s never too late to live your dreams. Thank you, Ashley for your kindness, compassion, and for making Janie feel on top of the world. 🌬️🏍️

It's' the perfect time of year to come and have a browse, there are just so many different items to choose from and they are so well priced. You're bound to find that bargain for Christmas. Shirts, dresses, jewellery, knick-knaks, cds, records, magazine and so much more.

And as it's a fundraiser, you'll be supporting a worthy cause! You'll find Grannies Attic at Sunnyside Village, open Monday to Friday from 9 am to 2pm
