Dr Van Osch and Dr Morrish recently visited India to experience the country’s first fully automated orthopaedic robotic manufacturing system.

Their visit highlighted how Indian orthopaedic implants are produced using German- and Swiss-engineered machinery alongside A-grade raw materials, ensuring excellent precision and safety standards.

With significantly reduced manufacturing costs, these systems make it possible to deliver high-quality, cost-effective orthopaedic care to a wider population.

Advancing Shoulder Surgery Training Across Africa

Dr Nitesh Bhagwan recently hosted a group of orthopaedic surgeons from Mombasa and Nairobi for an intensive shoulder surgery programme.
The visit began with a cadaveric skills lab, where surgeons refreshed and refined arthroscopic techniques. This was followed by live surgery sessions at Life Hilton Hospital, offering hands-on learning in a real clinical environment.
