Tracy qualified as a dieitician from University of Natal in 2002 and finished her post-graduate diploma in Pietermaritzburg in 2003. She did her community service year in Port Elizabeth where she stayed on as a dietician for the government hospitals in PE. After six years of working in the government sector and becoming senior dietician at Provincial Hospital,
Tracy decided to start her own private practice as a dietician. She is a diabetic herself (Type 1 - insulin dependent) and has personal insight into managing this disease with medicine and diet control. After 10 years in Port Elizabeth, Tracy has returned to Kwa-Zulu Natal and is based in Pietermaritzburg. Tracy has two boys , John and Gary is married to David Sparrow, a local optometrist. Tracy is available for appointments and private consultations as well as speaking to groups about diets, weight-management and management of dietary diseases.
