Making a difference in the lives of girls in our community🩷

Us 4 You Foundation generously donated 150 Care Packs to the Siyakhula Girls Project, an initiative by RivLife International. These care packs will provide essential sanitary products to girls in need, promoting dignity and empowering them to reach their full potential.

Celebrating Mandela Day with purpose🇿🇦

The RivLife Team spent the day at the Mental Health Society, lending a hand in their startup garden and sharing expertise on 'Farming God's Way', a sustainable gardening pattern pioneered by Ongama Tshawe in our own RivLife Gardens.

We're grateful for the opportunity to serve and learn from others, and we hope our efforts have made a positive impact.

Let's keep the spirit of Mandela Day alive by doing our part to serve and uplift those around us!

This past weekend, RivLife hosted its Annual Wellness Day, which provided comprehensive health services to over 250 attendees. The event offered a range of health screenings and consultations, including:

- General health screenings
- Child healthcare services
- Specialist pediatrician services
- Female health services
- Family planning services
- HIV/TB care services
- Mental health services, including Alcoholics Anonymous support

RivLife would like to extend its sincere gratitude to all the service providers, volunteers, and staff who contributed to the success of this event. Their dedication and expertise helped make a positive impact on the health and well-being of our community.

Our bakery programme officially kicked off this week in partnership with Tiger Brands 👨🏾‍🍳🧁

We are so excited to be hosting monthly training events with members of the community who are excited to upskill themselves! These individuals are from our beneficiary communities who are looking for the opportunity to learn to bake. They get to train, practice and then sell their creations to help support their families 🙏🏼

Thanks to Tiger Brands we have been able to update our bakery and get our kitchens ready for some exciting work ahead. A very special thank you to Queens Cakes for volunteering your time to assist with the training!
