I do so many consultations and have so many people hesitant to try micro-needling "skin remodeling". This is mainly due to bad experiences, mainly more "cost effective" treatments performed with non approved devices. I have myself also tried it and now know the difference. Paying cheap is Paying twice. In saying this, if you do consider micro-needling with lower end devices, it should only be performed at nano level and never pe*****te the skin.
Unfortunately these treatments can lead to more damage than good.
As a somatologist, I would love to reach out to clients to please do some research and become more educated and careful when pursuing more advanced skincare treatments.
