Ehab.healthcare: It's accurate, it's affordable and it's ready.

Education Liberation and Empowerment.

VALLEY OF ADDICTION: Explaining how people slide into the valley, why they cannot get out of the valley, how we go in and counsel them, and how they can then get out, stay stay out, and thrive like never before.

PARENTING STYLES: By listening to the voices of chemically dependent men and women since 1994, we have produced a series of talks on various parenting styles that actually contributed to a high probability of becoming chemically dependent. This course offers the information and examples necessary for the development of 'Addiction Prevention Parenting'

CBT - MINDFULNESS: Offer the opportunity for the development of 'Motivation in Isolation' during these times of confusion. This course creates an awareness of our thoughts and feelings as they happen, from moment to moment.

It's about allowing ourselves, to see the present moment clearly, and then when we do that, we can positively change the way we see ourselves and our lives.

Working from Home? CBT - MINDFULNESS offers a refreshing manner of effectively managing the boundary between your work and your home life, reducing stress and anxiety, increasing and maintaining motivation and supplementing relationship quality.

It's not just about addictions ... but check this out anyway.

The Bethesda Addiction Treatment Centre has closed after 16 years of amazing service to addicts and their loved ones both locally and internationally.
We have reopened as "Bethesda Retreat – Residential Sobriety". A safe, warm and empathetic place for people in early recovery to practice and exercise their new way of life.
We understand that Covid-19 has had a huge impact on the recovery community not just locally. Internationally as well. It has had an equally huge and devastating impact on the recovery industry. Many of the smaller family run institutions have had to close down or rethink and repurpose what they have and what they offer. 12 Step fellowship meetings have closed down worldwide.
With many resorting to Zoom and other digital platforms to reach out to those still struggling and suffering.
For some however the struggle needs real human connection. Perhaps we can help each other.
For the next few months Bethesda Retreat is offering anyone in our local Plett recovery community that is struggling. Perhaps even relapsed, a bed in our facility at a much-reduced rate.
Come in and regroup, reground, recalibrate or work a relapse rescue programme.
If anyone needs safe living, which includes evening meal, good mentoring in a recovery atmosphere, DSTV, WiFi, all the blah blah’s. 14 beds. Single rooms, double rooms and a dorm.
(Plett Recovery bods only.) Counselling if needed, groups if needed (all inclusive).
Application of personal 12 Step programme must be evident. Clean Covid-19 test a must
Reach out. Let’s chat, do an assessment and see how best we can help you.

To all the women who have passed through Bethesda in the last 16 years.
Be it client, friend, colleague. You have awed us, challenged us, inspired us, frustrated us, deeply moved us. We have seen some of you fight and overcome what at times seemed to be insurmountable odds. We have witnessed unbelievable courage from you. We love, admire and respect you. We thank you, we are grateful that we have had the privilege of being a part of your life and you being a part of ours. We are blessed.
May our Father God bless you all on this woman's day and everyday.

We can do whatever we set our minds to, but a recovering addict can’t do it alone. We’re stronger with the support of others, and we can pursue a life of recovery if we desire it enough. Don’t give up on your dreams of sober living.

It may seem shocking, but recovery isn’t just about stopping substance abuse. While we may think that if we stop using, life can go back to normal, it’s important to remember that normalcy is what brought you to addiction in the first place.

The road to sober living is full of mistakes and failures, but those failures can’t stop you. No matter how many times we fail, we have to brush ourselves off, learn from those mistakes, and push ourselves to keep pursuing a life of recovery. Take it day by day.

There’s nothing worse than a recovering addict being left to their own devices, where they can come into contact with substances or people that encourage them to use again. Recovery isn’t something to keep separate from your life, but it should become your life.

Our road to recovery isn’t over when we trip and fall, succumbing to our addiction and using again, or falling victim of depression and anxiety. It’s only if we don’t get up and start again that we’ve failed. Brush yourself off, and look for the help of a rehabilitation centre.

Relapses and past mistakes shouldn’t impact your recovery. Rather use them as a stepping stone to a successful recovery, learning from those mistakes and committing to overcoming them should they arise again. But more importantly, focus on the now, and what you can do now.
