VEGAN COLLAGEN Aminos contains PhytaColl®, a premium, plant-based, clean-ingredient, clinically-formulated, collagen-generating amino acid complex.
It includes all the amino acids required by the body to build new, resilient collagen fibres throughout the body, from clean, plant-based sources. Collagen is a protein, made up of amino acids and other co-factors, and is found throughout the body, giving form and structure to everything from the walls of our blood vessels to the cornea of our eyes. It is built from the bottom up, using individual amino acid building blocks sourced from your diet. These are combined with several co-factors, including vitamin C, sulphur and key minerals, to form the various types of collagen the body requires.
Collagen from animal sources (bovine, marine, poultry, etc.) must be broken down into individual amino acids before being transported across the gut membrane and into the bloodstream. This is a time- and energy-costly process and leads to spikes in inflammation because of all the toxins present in bovine-, marine- and poultry-sourced collagen. This in turn can cause further degradation of collagen in the body through free radical production.
PhytoColl® contains all the amino acid building blocks present in collagen but from clean, natural, plant-based sources, and in ready-to-assimilate forms – no need to be broken down before entry into the body.
