Supplements such as Willow Calcium Ascorbate offer a non-acidic form of vitamin C which is easier on the digestive tract than straight ascorbic acid. If regular ascorbic acid supplements cause you to experience side effects, such as diarrhea, upset stomach or heartburn, calcium ascorbate may be a better option because the calcium helps buffer the acid.

This form of vitamin C is less acidic than isolated ascorbic acid, and therefore gentler on the stomach. Not everyone is delighted that Spring is here. We get it. For some of us, with
Spring’s profusion of new grass and flowers means pollen and therefore misery: red, puffy, watering eyes, streaming, itchy noses and endless sneezing fits. All that itchiness, irritation, inflammation, swelling and congestion can cause significant daily discomfort.
