Hypnotherapy & NLP Life Coach

Barbara O'Hagan began her studies in Neuro Linguistic Programming (NLP) and qualified as a Master Practitioner and Life Coach, specialising in Hypnotherapy. NLP is the study and process of how language (verbal and non-verbal) affect our nervous system. Our ability to do anything in life is based upon our ability to direct our nervous system. We are entirely responsible for actively changing our behaviour according to the situation and the person(s) we interact with. An NLP therapist guides individuals towards this.

Barbara has worked in South Africa, China and Thailand, seeing clients on an individual basis as well as groups, running workshops on communication and self-development. From the passion she developed from this method of healing she has specialised in one-on-one hypnotherapy. Hypnotherapy is a gentle, non-evasive, yet highly effective tool enabling individuals to change their state from unwanted feelings and behaviours, negative emotions, traumatic events, phobias and fears into a happier, healthier and more empowered state.

Clients usually spend the majority of these sessions in quietness while work is done on their subconscious level. Clients are given the choice of weather they would like to remain in their present time-line or alternatively if they are open to past life regression, bearing in mind clients will not be taken any further than their subconscious will allow them. At any time individuals have the choice to stop or pause the process.

Clients benefit from this therapy by being able to focus on what they want in life as opposed to what they do not want. It helps them to create clear outcomes in their life and in doing so enhance the quality of their lives. Hypnotherapy is a method of “detoxing an individual’s timeline”, removing the pain associated with past events and feelings, without having to re-enter the pain-body. The effects of this are on-going and life changing. This is also termed by Barbara as an “Emotional Detox”.
