English & German We are all unique and thus it manifests in each patient in its own way. Therefore, it is necessary to work on an individual path that will empower the patient, carer, family and friends to create a situation that is beneficial for all involved. My name is Nadja Fredericks. I offer support groups, multi-dimensional evaluations and private counselling for people who care for and live around a person who is affected by Dementia. I also offer personal sessions for patients who suspect or have been diagnosed with Dementia. This is not the end of the road. You too can live well with Dementia!

Join us at our next grief café session explores the five stages of grief, a model introduced by Elisabeth Kübler-Ross to help us understand the emotional responses to loss.

These stages — denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance — are not linear, but rather experiences that may come and go in different ways for each person.

This is a gentle space to reflect, share, and honour wherever you are in your own journey with grief.

Grief wears many faces, and not all of them involve death.

This month, I invite you to explore a type of grief that often goes unrecognised: ambiguous grief.

The mourning of a life un-lived. It's the complex sorrow we feel for what could have been—dreams interrupted by circumstance, futures reshaped by illness, relationships transformed by divorce, or possibilities that slipped away with time - whether due to chronic illness, aging, disability or life circumstances that altered our path.

This space between what was & what might have been deserves acknowledgment and space to heal.

Support for families living with Dementia

I am often asked what service I offer for people who are faced with the challenging path of Dementia 🦋

Dementia affects the whole family.
I work with and support both the person living with Dementia and family members, to create a care plan as good as it gets, for all involved with the resources that are available.

Together we can navigate this journey with dignity and quality of life.

Reach out so i can support. 🦋

In our upcoming first meeting of 2026 we will explore the challenges of a Living Will 🦋
