Imagine if every time you were about to vent or share a tough day with your partner you said:
'I would really appreciate if you just listen to me, not problem solve. I just want to be heard.'

IDK about you, but I think that would shift a lot of the directions for my conversations 🎉"

So accurate 😅 One of the best ways to clean up your mental mess is to talk! Even if you don’t have the right words or understand what’s going on. Too often we avoid talking because we think we will be a burden, or because we think we have to have a solution if we talk about a problem. So I encourage you now to talk- to a therapist, trusted friend, your pets, your pillows! Just get it out and I promise you will feel a little better.
