Advice for partners
1. Answer all questions, make decisions
2. Very important: DO NOT DISTURB mom with questions, decisions protect the NON thinking brain.
3. Make her feel safe. Tell her she ia safe with you and you are with her
4. Eat small bites of soft fruit that is a bit sour too like berries or sour sweets
5. Offer sips of rehydrate or energade (This is amazing ).
6. Sleep between contractions.
7. No exercise just rest
8. Know this . when it comes to the pushing phase your body with surge with adrenaline, the fight or flight hormone and this will give you the boost you need to push .GOD has got your back!!

1 . They dont allow doulas in their space.
2. They dont acknowledge or want to discuss your birth preferences and tell you to not worry about it .
3. You feel unheard or anxious to discuss things at your appointments.
4. You feel rushed at your appointments, this will probably happen at your birth too.
5. Limited access, poor admin /receptionist give bad service. You will need to deal with this person on your most vulnerable time so dont ignore this flag.
Overall dont choose a provider who makes crass jokes and focuses on making your partner laugh. Trust your gut if you feeling unsafe and change before its too late
