Dementia/Alzheimer’s Day at Our Home

On Sunday 21 September we paused to remember and honor all those who are affected by this terrible disease. 💜

A heartfelt thank you to our wonderful staff for the love, care, and dedication you show each day. Your compassion makes a real difference in the lives of our residents and their families.

Congratulations Jandré & Mia! 🎉

We are overjoyed to share that both Jandré and Mia were crowned the winners of the Mr & Miss Oosskool Pageant! 🌟

Even more exciting, their community project at Our Home was awarded Best Project after they successfully completed work valued at R170,000.00 for our residents.

To crown the evening, the proceeds from all tickets sold at last night’s event were also awarded to Our Home. We are deeply touched by this incredible generosity.

A very special word of thanks goes to Jandré and Mia, as well as their parents, who worked tirelessly to make this wonderful project such a success. We could not be more proud!

We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to every company and individual who sponsored and supported Jandré and Mia—your generosity has made an enormous difference in the lives of our residents. 🙏

Lastly, we extend our heartfelt thanks to Oosskool for this wonderful initiative. Over the years, countless lives have been touched through this project, and so many children and finalists have had the opportunity to show empathy and commitment to making the world a better place. No learner could walk away from such a project without being changed forever. ✨
