The Thulamela Men’s Indaba brought together leaders, organisations, and community members for meaningful dialogue and reflection on the social challenges affecting our communities. From powerful messages of support to an impactful keynote address by the Mayor, the gathering emphasized unity, responsibility, and collective action.

Held at the Prof V.N Ralushai Library Auditorium, the event created a space for engagement, awareness, and commitment to change.

Together, we stood firm and declared:
“Not in my name.” ✊

Today we had the privilege of engaging with Grade 8 & 9 learners during a stakeholders and learners’ briefing — reaching 457 young minds in one session!

Adolescence is a critical stage of development where young people are asking, “Who am I?” while navigating homework, peer pressure, and big life choices — all while their brains are still developing. Guidance during this phase is not optional… it is essential.

With substance exposure happening earlier than ever, SANCA remains committed to prevention and empowerment. We will never grow tired of spreading the message.

Because the coolest thing a young person can protect… is their future. ✨
