𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗹𝘂 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘁:
✅ Everyone from 6 months of age and up
✅ Children (especially under 5 years)
✅ Adults over 65
✅ Pregnant women (safe and strongly recommended)
✅ People with chronic conditions, such as:
- Asthma
- Diabetes
- Heart disease
- HIV or weakened immune systems
- Healthcare workers and caregivers

These groups are at higher risk of complications, so vaccination is especially important.

⚠️ 𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗰𝗵𝗲𝗰𝗸 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗳𝗶𝗿𝘀𝘁
- Babies younger than 6 months (too young for the vaccine)

Tuberculosis (TB) remains a serious public health challenge in South Africa — but awareness and early action can save lives.

📊 Key TB Facts in South Africa:
* Incidence rate: ~468 per 100,000 people
* Over 300,000 people fall ill with TB every year
* Estimated 54,000–56,000 deaths annually
* Around 54% of TB cases occur in people living with HIV

While progress has been made, with new cases decreasing by over 50% since 2015, TB is still one of the leading causes of death in our country.
